Dr. Pallavi Rakesh has been practicing dentistry since 2007 and has served patients in Alpharetta, Georgia, and the surrounding communities for nearly two decades. She earned her Bachelor of Dental Sciences from Bangalore University before completing her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at Boston University School of Dental Medicine in 2007.

In 2014, Dr. Rakesh founded Ace Family Dental as a new practice built around a simple philosophy: the patient always comes first. She believes exceptional dentistry requires not only clinical experience, but also humility, continued learning, and a willingness to continually improve the way care is delivered.

Patients often describe Dr. Rakesh as caring and gentle. She takes pride in helping patients feel comfortable during treatment and approaches each patient with the same care and consideration she would want for a member of her own family. Her goal is not simply to treat an individual tooth or dental problem, but to help patients understand the connection between oral health, function, appearance, and long-term overall wellness.

Dr. Rakesh has completed more than 2,000 hours of continuing education after dental school, including extensive study in implant dentistry, restorative and cosmetic dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, clear aligner therapy, oral surgery, and periodontal care. Her advanced education includes the AAID MaxiCourse in Implant Dentistry, completed in 2014.

Over the course of her career, Dr. Rakesh has completed more than 10,000 crowns, more than 3,000 bridges, and over 10,000 filling and restorative cases. She has placed more than 2,000 dental implants and restored more than 2,000 implant cases, including more than 100 implant-supported and snap-in denture cases.

Dr. Rakesh and her husband, Rakesh Talanki, have two sons, Aniket and Ishanth. She is also an artist who works across canvas, glass, and pottery. When she is not practicing dentistry or painting, Dr. Rakesh enjoys gardening, hiking, trekking, cycling, outdoor activities, and opportunities to experience wildlife.
