Dr. Dionne Wells
DMD — General Dentist
Dr. Dionne Wells is a Georgia native who has been practicing dentistry in the Atlanta area since 2019. Originally from Smyrna, she earned her Bachelor of Science in Applied Biology with honors from the Georgia Institute of Technology before attending the Dental College of Georgia at Augusta University, where she earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree in 2019.
Before entering dentistry, Dr. Wells gained experience in laboratory science and public health advocacy, working alongside scientists in Georgia and developing an appreciation for the connection between research, prevention, and overall health. That background continues to influence the way she approaches patient care today. Dr. Wells joined Ace Family Dental in March 2026.
Dr. Wells' goal is to make going to the dentist a more positive experience. She wants her patients to feel comfortable, cared for, and confident in their smiles. She takes time to explain findings, answer questions, and discuss treatment options clearly. Dr. Wells believes patients should feel informed and involved in their care.
Dr. Wells is an Invisalign Certified Provider and has completed continuing education through programs including Invisalign, Nobel Biocare, the Georgia Dental Association, and Precision Oral Surgery. She has completed more than 160 hours of continuing education since dental school.
Outside the office, she enjoys spending time with her dog, reading mysteries and psychological thrillers, and staying active — whether exploring local trails, hiking, spending time at the beach, or simply relaxing at the park.
