Dr. William Shin holds a Georgia general anesthesia permit and has extensive experience with sedation cases. The appropriate anesthesia or sedation approach is determined during the consultation based on the procedure, medical history, and individual comfort needs.
Patients receiving sedation or certain medications will need to follow specific pre- and post-operative instructions, including arranging transportation when required.
What to Expect After Oral Surgery
Recovery depends on the procedure and the individual patient. Swelling, tenderness, and temporary changes in eating may occur during the initial healing period, especially after surgical extractions or wisdom teeth removal.
