Dr. Pallavi Rakesh

DMD

Dr. Pallavi Rakesh earned her Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from Bangalore University, and attended dental school at Boston University School of Dental Medicine, where she earned her Doctorate of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree. While in dental school, she studied under some of the world's finest instructors, and excelled in developing her clinical skills. She regularly advances her dental education through continuing education courses. Dr. Rakesh has been practicing dentistry in Alpharetta, Georgia, and surrounding areas since 2007.

Dr. Rakesh has also received advanced training in dental implants. She stays up to date in dental implant placement and bone augmentation procedures, and has completed the Implant Maxi Course from the Medical College of the Georgia School of Dentistry.

Dr. Rakesh is known for her caring nature and gentle manner. She has a reputation for providing pain-free care to her patients, and takes pride in treating each patient as if they were a member of her family. As a dentist, her goal is to create beautiful, healthy smiles.

Dr. Rakesh and her husband, Rakesh Talanki, have two sons, Aniket and Ishanth. When she is not helping patients at our office, she enjoys hand painting, gardening, hiking, cycling, and doing other outdoor activities. Dr. Rakesh has had a passion for arts since childhood. She has a collection of Ethnic Designs in Indian and European contemporary styles, and has created many beautiful works of art herself, using canvas, glass, pottery, and ceramics. In art as in dentistry, Dr. Rakesh's work is characterized by excellence in her craft.

Dr. William Shin

DDS, MS

Dr. William Shin, DDS, MS is a board certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon serving the greater Atlanta area. Dr. Shin has a demonstrated history of working in the healthcare industry who diagnoses and treats hard and soft tissue diseases of the mouth, jaws, face and neck.

Dr. Shin is passionate about solving problems related to dentistry and surgery as it's both physically and academically demanding, which suits his personality. He loves meeting new people, hearing their stories and getting to know his community on a personal level. The most important aspect of his job is having the opportunity to change his patients' well-being and let them feel their best. Careful attention to patient concerns and answering all questions thoroughly is his standard of approach to patient care.

Dr. Shin has many publications under the topics of dental anxiety, oral health literacy, biochemistry and other related topics.

Dr. Victor Robinson

DDS

With a deep-rooted passion for oral health and a dedication to patient-centered care, Dr. Robinson brings a warm, knowledgeable, and meticulous approach to every appointment. He believes that a healthy smile is a cornerstone of overall well-being and is committed to empowering his patients to take an active role in their treatment.

Originally from Kingston, Jamaica, Dr. Robinson's journey in science began in New York. He attended St. John's University, where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology in 2004. Fueled by a desire to directly impact people's health and well-being, he pursued his dental education at the prestigious New York University College of Dentistry, earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree in 2009.

Dr. Robinson views dentistry as the perfect fusion of art and science. He is a firm believer in lifelong learning and is constantly engaged in continuing education courses to master the latest advancements. This commitment ensures his patients receive the most modern and effective care available. His clinical expertise includes a comprehensive range of procedures such as root canal therapy, crowns, bridges, extractions, and dentures.

When he is not in the office, Dr. Robinson enjoys working out and spending quality time with his family. He is excited to meet you and help you achieve your long-term oral health goals.

Dr. Dionne Wells

DMD

Dr. Dionne Wells, a native of Smyrna, Georgia, brings a unique blend of scientific expertise and patient care to her dental practice. Fueled by a passion for improving oral health and overall well-being, Dr. Wells earned a degree with honors from the Georgia Institute of Technology, building a strong foundation in science and technology. Her path then led to the Dental College of Georgia, where she graduated with a Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree.

Prior to dentistry, Dr. Wells gained valuable experience in laboratory sciences and public health advocacy. Working alongside leading Georgia scientists, she developed a deep understanding of health research and a commitment to preventative care. This dual background fuels her dedication to providing her patients with not just exceptional dental treatment, but also comprehensive education and personalized care plans. Dr. Wells believes a healthy smile is the cornerstone of a healthy life, and she strives to empower her patients to achieve optimal oral health.

Dr. Wells is deeply committed to serving the less fortunate in her community through volunteer work with organizations such as Hands on Atlanta and Open Hand. She volunteers her time and expertise to provide dental care and education to underserved populations, and supports individuals facing food insecurity by delivering highly nutritious meals to clients living below the poverty line.

In her downtime, Dr. Wells loves spending time with animals, getting lost in a good book — especially mysteries and suspenseful novels — and exploring nature on trails, whether hiking in the mountains or strolling along the beach. She is also a movie buff at heart, enjoying everything from heartwarming classics to adrenaline-pumping adventures.
